I dont have soundproblems, but i use USB for sounds.

well i got a few full crashes that needed hard reset at the plug.
The sound buzzed like crazy when it happened maybe it is sound related or something like that. |

I have the latest patch and yes I have sounds disappearing too,mainly the enemy's engines.

I had no probs until the last patch. Have to restart game to get it back. Bit hard with 109 vs-prop in a dogfight.

This may sound odd, but I think it's server side, and it's the dedicated server.
Why? My whole Clod flying squad has been having a lot of trouble with this, across a broad spectrum of HW and configs. I noticed last night I could fly for hours off line, and a couple of squad mates said the same. We gave up because of sound probs tonight, and a couple of us took turns running a mission on their game box, that's to say the non dedicated server, and sound, admittedly for a much smaller number of connected clients, was rock solid. |
