Very excellent question.

In the case of this patch on my machine, for example - my fps was down in some runs by a few frames - BUT my pausing and stuttering were almost non-existent.

So in my case - I reported improved performance. It does you no good to have 100 fps for 20 frames and 1 fps for 10.

So fsr servers seem more stable - though the flying lawnmower men are still out in force:

Brauer,

I saw the same thing last night - but only on the Syndicate server.

Is that where you were too?

Most significant improvements for me (Dual Core - Win 7/64 -4Gb- GTS250)

1. Vsync enabled - No screen tearing.

2. Input response (virtually no lag and ac control sensitivy vastly better)

Brief closures to desktop when exiting missions/menus can be a bit disconcerting - many thanks for the rapid rate of improvements.

A very happy bunny here!

The fact that desktop can be seen at anytime when the game has launched means that fullscreen is definitly not working which means Vsync and AA are not working properly too.
When fullscreen works properly you will have to Alt-Tab to see your desktop.

When they fix it we will see real the real difference made by AA which I'm sure they will.

I find it strange that fullscreen wasn't in at the very beginning.
