Implementing them is not free, you have to pay the programmer, even if it's done in short amount time. One of the two(FT/TIR) make actually money with the interface/product they offer. That means you can charge only one of them for implementing their interface. Of course, they are only willing to pay if you cut the competition out - normal. Sounds like win-win situation. Unless, of course, your sales would suffer substantially because you only offer the interface for one device. This last point is the only important one - this is what this freaking poll should have been about. |
