I actually think a Q6600 will play this just fine.Throw in a decent gfx card,and 4 GBs of ram,and it will run well IMO.
Don't forget,nobody could play il2 at maximum settings when it was released.

As I said in the other thread, there's still a lot of free space for better graphics, more objects and features. This is a good sign.

Oleg stated already that they'll introduce / unlock other graphical features step by step in the future. On this way SoW and its ancestor will keep having a decent look over the years.

I think so, I will keep my Q9550@3,6GHz. I will only change my videocard to a better one if SOW will be out. Now I use a NV285

will keep my q9550 @3.8ghz as well.... wont have any difference with a standard i7

will upgrade my ati4870 though, and might as well add some more ram
