Thinking About Getting A Ps3

Apart from they have the patch i cant think of one lol. It's a cheap blu-ray player if that's your thing and the MAG game looks pretty tight!

If you've already got an xbox then you've nothing to lose by getting a PS3 and If your Mum's gonna go halves with you then why not!

I'd say get one...

1. Uncharted: Drakes Fortune & Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

2. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

3. Blue Ray is cool, but it's not really a good reason to hate or like the PS3.

4. MAG.... kinda interesting game.

5. Warhawk, is a fun online only game. Futuristic Sci-fi that's just fun for the hell of it.

6. It's got the PATCH!

7. I dunno, I got Resident Evil 5 for it. But that's on both consoles, so I guess it's just preference.

OMHWTFBBQ!?!?!?! YOU FORGOT KILLZONE 2!!! Seriously though it's not for everyone, but Killzone 2 was the most fun I've had in a long time, plus the story was amazing.

Oh yeah... Killzone 2 is a pretty sweet game. The dudes in black, have a MG that looks like a futuristic MG42! Kinda cool.

You guys forgot about the most important one. Gran Turismo.
Plus I just recently got a PSP with GTPSP so cars and funds (hopefully) will transfer over when GT5 comes out, and one thing I love about it is I can stream movies from my ps3 from anywere on the planet. You have to leave the ps3 on but if you were in a Wifi area you can log on to your ps3 and watch movies. This is a really cool feature that I love.

Another good reason is HDD upgrades. I just put a 640 gb hardrive in mine so I have plenty of room for a long time. I have 20 demos on mine plus 30 movies.

And maybe for a good story you could check out Heavy Rain this games looks pretty good.

And the PS3 will start to pull ahead of the 360 in terms of graphics now (probably only for exclusive titles though - see Uncharted 2 for proof).

Also, there's great exclusives on PSN store, Wipeout HD, Super Stardust HD, Pixel Junk Eden and fl0wer being ones that spring to mind.

And if gimmicks are your bag, there will be that 3D stuff in the near future.
