I use the G-6 for now, I can't aim very well with the center guns of the F-4, even when I'm right ontop of them. Once we have German cockpits, I'll probably be in the F-4. Fast and nimble. I've unlocked the 109K but I'm not a fan. Feels sluggish, even for a 109.

F-4 for dealing with fighters, K-4 for bomber busting. Unless a B-17 appears in which case Me-262.

When I'm not bombing myself, that is.

Well I found that the G6 is a heavy fat big pig EDIT with big balls though

Don't now really well the others, I will test them in free flight (especially the F4)

well ive been using the g6 but allways seem to lose out in a turning battle see my thread what am i doing wrong the k4 is even more of a flying brick when it comes to turning etc you have to really keep an eye on your speed
all i can say is stay FAST and get really close before you let rip with the guns becuse at close range they will eat any other plane in seconds

i think they are best suited to boom n zoom tactics so if you good at boom and zoom (i aint lol) then these are ideal planes to use

ive just started using la7 yak 3 and they seem to be a lot more niffty

used to fly the G6 until I got served a large helping of whoop ass with a side order of lead by a certain member of this forum...

Since then have had great games on the G2...wonderfully chuckable plane...

last time out I was all over enemy G6/10s and K4s like a cheap suit...

I didn't know the Gustav was heavier on the controls, I was outturning the highest mark of Spitfire quite a few times in realistic and simulator battles. Probably just that the players weren't doing it right.

When you get a lucky hit with 30 mm in the G-6 its great, killed a stuka in one hit with it.

G6, it is the all around better fighter then the other 109s. It varies with the person who flys it. My forte is the g6. I ve tried th K-4 and the G10 and it just doesnt live up to the G6 for me. Either does the F4 or E3 which i havent used since I unlocked the G series. I have yet to fly the G2. I rarely find people who can out gun me in my G6, there are a few who can exploit the 109s weakness.

Seraph started a great thread on all of the plane types that lays out the diffs between 109 models, check it out. I only have the F-4 and E-3 unlocked as of now but I prefer the F-4 for its greater stability, and speed. Its still a good turner, something lost in later marks, though its armament is less than the E-3. Incidentally alot of Luftwaffe top aces stayed with the E-3 instead of the F-4 because of the armament issue. In Fact Adolf Galland even field modified his F-4 to have the E-3s two outboard MG FF cannons in addition to the F-4s motorkanonen.
