in normal play not :
EXP goes down by increasing battle rounds (after 20th round you get 0 EXP for using spirits...)

also you get very few or nada EXP for battling weaker enemy than "match" - but as we are in MODDIN section - maybe someone could help us here with "spirit fast XP leveling" mod let's see (or we could ourselves - as here are plenty "how to" guides for modding KB )

Edit : don't wait for me to do this mod - I like the speed of spirit leveling ... still I would welcome going above the 30th level for each spirit (at last till 40)
OR - to have four options instead of two each spirit level (so I may select only the needed spirit skills much easily)
