The Game isn't even starting!

3) No. It just doesn't start at all. It doesn't even show in the task manager even for a second.

By the way, I am using the Windows 8 Release Preview. Could compatibility be the problem? I have older games (also on Steam) which work fine so I don't see why COD wouldn't work.
