ice orb not collecting orbs

i haven't tested this with spawned units or with phantoms
but i assume they can

when lina is casting chargers, i believed that ANY unit being spawned or phantomed could pick up this orb either mana or rage

but when i tried it with a ice orb
it didn't :O?
wtf?

(on a side note when it's on the end)(did this on a gremlin battle) it did pick it up
but when moving through it, it doesn,t what the hell?
