Default Realistic vs Simulation

Is there a definitive list of differences between realistic & Sim modes?

I like a realistic flight model but I do like to fly outside sometimes and Sim mode restricts this. Is the Realistic mode full on flight model or does it round off the corners?

An official full comparison between the modes would be useful if it exists?

In realistic the technique is simplified (no flaps etc...) and yeah it rounds the corners. In realistic there's no stabilizer and it looks like the game does it for you. You also have icons, lock, more ammo and fuel in realistic.

All true I believe although I think online some of these things can be turned on/off especially ammo and fuel. Basically I'll be looking to make Realistic as close to Simulation as possible while essentially just keeping the target cam.

I fully agree! I would like to have "sims" mode with just icons of realistic, especially for ground targets!

Play on realistic with the HUD set to "MINIMAL" this removes the redand yellow arrow indicators and names of planes, but still allows a padlock of enemies. It is MUCH harder than regular realistic but also allows you to tell friend from foe.
