Thumbs up Thank you, Anton

I was hopeing the german cockpit reply thread would be like this, but it wasn't quite the case, it kind of turned into another Q&A session. So please, none of that here.

Thank you, Anton. Your level of honesty and openess is completely unprecedented. I've really never seen so much feedback from a developer for any game, ever. As the saying goes, "honesty is the best policy" Even if it means being honest about something that may well prove to be unpopular in the end. That doesn't mean you owe it to us though, on the contrary, you don't owe anyone here anything, The fact that you even take the time to answer so many questions is astounding! I've heard that the period between the time a game goes gold to the time it is released is one of the busiest and most hectic for a developer, so thank you once again for taking time out of your day to answer all of these questions.

I wanted to add that I sincerely hope that you don't get into any trouble because of your choice to keep us informed. It wasn't necessary, but you did it anyway, and i thank you. All that aside, I'm having a blast with the demo and can't wait till September, cockpits or not !

Once again, please, no discussions, questions, gripes, or debates. There are enough threads devoted to that. This thread is for recognizing Anton and the rest of his team.

This is a good thread for my responce...

I'm not a PC simmer. I have never played any of the PC versions of IL-2. For a long time now I have been a console gamer. I have played and put up with all the flight type games released for Sony consoles since PS1.

I have a degree in Aerospace engineering from a respected school in the US.

This Demo far exceeds anything that has EVER been released on a Sony console in terms of flight model and overall performance. The things folks are picking on here in the forum, well, it just makes them look shallow and spoiled.

All any developer ever gave me was a crappy paper replica of flight.

Now I have a wonderful new benchmark.

Anton you have an incredible leap forward for consoles here. I hope you are duly rewarded, and even if it doesn't sell 3 million you have much to be proud of and my (and many un-named non-posting others...) eternal gratitude.

Thank you for this great game.

Thank YOU !!! Thank YOU !!!! Thank YOU !!!!

I too am a "older" Aerospace Engineer, a private pilot, and have loved flying since I was very young. Anton, your team, and entire company have MUCH to be proud of.
