Hi,

It is worth it if you play BoP on sim mode... or at least with the cockpit view.
If you like to play third person shooting in arcade mode you don't really need one I think.

Personnaly I bought the Thrustmaster T-flight Hotas for PS3 and works fine on demos of Hawx et blazing Angels 2.

When the ps3 demo comes out I will be giving it a shot with my standard ps3 controller.

Most likely I will be ordering a T flight Hotas five minutes later as I am expecting this game to be half the fun without a flight stick.

Yeah I have already made up my mind haven't I?

If anyone really enjoys flying games, it only makes perfect sence to get a stick. It seems like it would be the " true feel " to me. I have never used one myself, but i've only played ace combat games on ps2, and some other console flight games. I do like more realistic games, however, ( see my avatar ) but i'm not a pc gamer though, for diffrent reasons. I never played a flight sim, but i'm not gonna even touch arcade mode. That's what got me interested in this game in the first place, Simulation mode ! Hope i can handle it. lol.

I just got the T. flight hotas x for ps3, and i'm looking foward toward a totally new gaming experience !

So guys, without trying to sound stupid, is this T-flight Hotas for PS3 really any good? I mean does it work well on the PS3, whats the quaility and build like? And are there any alternatives worth considering?

Hi Dar-kaus.

I am not really an expert on this subject but from what I understand there are basically two available flight sticks for ps3, the T flight Hotas and the Saitek Aviator.

The aviator doesn't have the HOTAS control and from what i've read so far in the thread about the 360 version of it our Xbox brethren aren't too enthusiastic about it.

Plus Anton mentioned somewhere using the Hotas for the ps3 himself, so I assume the game devellopers themselves might prefer the T flight over the aviator.

Prices for the two of them are pretty identical.

Perhaps someone has used both sticks and can share their opinion.

I've had hands on with the Tflight and would get one if they were out for the 360--I have an aviator which is better than no stick-for the sony I'd say the Tflight seeing as its almost the same money ... anyone else
