Specified game server does not respond

I have trouble connecting to some multiplayer games. About half of them have a yellow shield with an exclamation mark inside. When I try to join, it shows me "Negotiating NAT Connection" or something before giving me "Specified game server does not respond".

What can I do to solve this? I forwarded my ports according to that "Promiscuous NAT" wiki page.

You won't be capable to connect to all local servers, mostly because they didn't forward their ports or there are several networks between you and them. NAT traversel works only for some extent.
