I can't seem to tell in game how leadership works and I'm still kind of confused with the definition from the manual.
I tried disbanding my peasants and I noticed I didn't gain any leadership from doing that. So I am wondering, when I recruit a unit, do I spend leadership points like currency? Or will I have an ever growing pool of leadership? If it is the case of the ever growing pool, can I then disband the units I'm using now and get my leadership back to recruit better units I find later? Thank you ![]() |

Think of leadership as a maximum cap for how many units you can have, that is analyzed for each seperate type of unit. Leadership, combined with the 5 active stack limit determines your army.
An example: you have leadership of 100 Cats are 5 leadership per: you can have a maximum of 20 cats. Dogs are 10 leadership per: you can a max of 10 dogs. Note: the number of cats you have does not affect the number of dogs you can have, leadership is compared separately, for each. Mice are 2 leadership per: you can have max of 50 mice. So, leadership is not spent, renewed, etc. Rather, it is a cap that you compare against when determining how many units of a particular type you may have, on a type-by-type basis. |
