IIRC Oleg used NVidia cards on his systems when creating IL2. I've also found that there is some criticism of the article by those who claim the games tested mostly favored NVidia cards. At the time of IL2's release (IIRC) Nvidia had better OpenGL implementation than ATi. Don't know if that's true now.

![]() That's true for most sims. . .I only know of one ATI advantage, and that's in BlackShark where nVidia drivers have stripes in the shadows, but ATI drviers don't. It's a shame too. . .a 4890 is a lot less cash than a GTX 285! |
