Default Couple of adventuring questions

Hi Guys,

First play-thru, great game (though I hit BOTH the Mirabella crash and the Upper Hadar freeze , lots of questions ;-] (and lots of answers on these forums). Thanks for any of this:

- Quest question -- on Freedom Islands I talked with the brotherhood, did a quest and a guy told me about a mask which I should talk about in the orc embassy -- when I go to the embassy I get the option to fight the dragon (huh, what dragon and what does it have to do with the mask??) -- is there somebody else who gives you this quest, like officially with more info?
- I'm done with the Dwarven lands and am expected to return to the king -- however, I can also go to Demonis. Enemies there seem too tough for my char right now (I'm Mage, Lvl 20) -- should I return later?
- When can / should I use the submarine and where does it take me?
- When should I be able / try to take on the Double Future fine in the arena of truth and do the Mage range (I think now that I'm Lvl 20 I can take on the range, but still has to try, previously it was too tough).

Also, which are the more obscure quests / options to do things? E.g. I just found out (thanks to the forum) that I can give the idol's head to the Barbarian Chieftain?

Thanks!

the Dragon quest gives you Mask of Youth, +7% of health to level 1-3 creatures but the Dragons den has some flags in it

can't answer to other questions as I haven't progressed much further than you :p

I believe at that point you are just supposed to sneak around demonis and try and get any freebie pick ups/buys that you can... but you aren't supposed to be conquering it just yet.

1. Submarine will take you to Greenwort (where you set sail) in Darion or Eastern Island (place where you find Mirabella) in Freedom Island. You can start using it after liberating Bogacho and getting the peace treaty with Dwarves sealed.

2. You should be more than capable to complete Mage range at your level.

3. The enemy in the arena of truth is an exact mirror of your own armies while the size scales to yours. The second fight does not require a full army though.

Couple of things to consider fighting the arena battle, dryads can make low level units go to sleep, if you head into the battle with all low level units then you can prevent your opponents from having a single turn with lullaby, also various eleven units are vulnerable to fire so have these armies present if you have good fire damage.
