Default How to get from Upper Hadar to Lower Hadar?

Hi, how do I get from Upper Hadar to Lower Hadar? I've seen the icons in the world map, but on the adventure screen, I cant see the entrances. I've cleaned up all the enemies and also solved the quest with the combination lock. Is there something that I am missing? Thanks!

I wondered myself for a moment when I first got to Hadar as there are so many doodads in the game that I thought the wooden elevators were just another doodad. Having to traverse maps only on map edges up to this(other than dungeons/caves). I think it's a valid question.
