Default Hi everyone!

Hi!

I have a few questions, not about gameplay but about the game itself.
I'm currently playing the demo and I really like it! It looks colorfull and runs very smooth. The music is fun and energetic but a tad bit repetitive.

So far, i'm thinking of buying the game.

But, I'm wondering:
  • Is this game based on the Warcraft III engine? It seems very familiar at times except it "shines" more.
  • I went to the site of the developers, but sadly it's not available in english yet. I was kinda wondering if anyone could find and translate a part where it describes how they started/are organized. (Are there people involved who came from other developers.)
  • Does the digital version (download) have a manual?

The characters (so far) are animated really well!! And their models are top notch!
The enviroments really draw you in... the atmo is very fantasy like. Hehe.
Only thing i'm missing is some spoke dialogue, but it's only a minor thing.

Hope someone can answer my questions!

Greetings
D.

Dev's page not in ENG? Sad... but still check the homepage:
http://www.kings-bounty.com/eng/

But the graphical design from Skyfallen (http://www.skyfallen.com/) is more about pictures, than language... not to mention that google can translate any web page... in quite good quality (or bable fish)

Katauri: http://www.katauri.com/ is really missing ENG button (its there but dead), but again -> google can translate it.

I would advise to check most reviews for this game (to be found in "reviews" thread), but watch out not to read too much in other "spoiler" threads ... it is for your own good sake, should you decide to buy this excellent game.

Nice, thanks for the reply.
I'm still doubting which version to buy though. Digital is so easy, but less... "hands on". lol

Blood Magic looks like a cool game, which is using TheEngine.
Maybe later? Hmmm, I hope so.

Hi Gatts!

I never thought about translating the webpage with google. I almost forgot that option excisted!

I think I red trough everything on the main site of the game... It really explains alot. Still, I could use a manual.
They sure put alot of work into that site. Kudos to the designer!!

TheEngine Skyfallen developed is really cool. Still, seems so strange that it looks like another game engine... But i'm happy they made it. Hehe.
When you look at it, the game developer world is big. You have compagnies that do nothing but burn CD's, compagnies that make game engines, compagnies that sell the games, etc... Wow. :O

I haven't checked the reviews yet. I always keep those for last. Kinda as not to be misled. Sometimes personal experience (if possible) is worth more then a review.

Thanks for the reply and idea!

Thanks for the link.
Btw, Blood Magic 2 looks amazing. So many hidden pearls in the gameworld...

*goes off to buy King's Bounty*

Btw, I haven't played much of the storyline yet (duh ) but maybe an idea for a new section somewhere... RP'ing in the world of Endoria.
Just an idea, I suck at making stuff up. Haha.
