upgrade spells

does anyone know how to upgrade spells?I am playing as a mage and all my spells are at level one! Thank you very much!

You need to upgrade their corresponding skills in the magic tree to upgrade spells of any school.

To be able to upgrade your spells you need:
1.) have the appropriate magic school on level 2 or 3
2.) press "h" to open your hero screen
3.) click "Migic" (yellow marked in my KB Magic Upgrade.JPG att.)
4.) check if you have the school you want upgrade in GOLD (that indicates you have enough RUNES for the upgrade
In my screenshot - Ordred magic and Distortion magic are in gold, but chaos magic is not - I do not have enough runes for upgrading it... but is is already on second level...)

5.) If you have enough runes - upgrade the magic school of your likings (in my case it is chaos )

6.) In the same interface click the magic book to open your spell book
7.) find the spells you want and now can upgrade
EXAMPLE:
I have four spells in my screenshot KB Spell Upgrade.JPG
Trap: Distortion -> it is level ONE and will stay LEVEL ONE (I have distortion magic on level one)
Plague + Weakness: both are level one CHAOS - so I could click the round button with the two up-arrows [in green circle] - always check how many crystals are needed -> not having enough CRYSTALS -> No Upgrade possible (Crystals are consumed in different ways - Mostly when you scribe the scrolls into your spellbook and upgrade them) on higher difficulties you may experience lack of crystals
Fireball: Is already on second level (upgraded)
8.) Click the round "upgrade" button that is near the spell you like to have stronger/upgraded
9.) Done!
