Is that the guy on the first freedom isle who tells you to find the treasure for him? If so, there's a somewhat tough fight at the end, I think it could be avoided by buying the key from the guy in the beach hut for 20k (or was it 50k?). Either that or wait until you can beat the undeads (and the pirate hero if you want the whole treasure).

Yuo mean the map for the treasure in the underground? The curse is simple a anothe battle which spawns once you dig the treasure. And you can find another battle later by not giving the part of the treasure to the pirate.
Which measn 2 battles more and additional XP.
