Unhappy Game doesn't start under Vista 64 Bit

Hey@all

I have a problem. The game doesn't start.
The kb.exe needs about 25% CPU, but nothing happens......
No message or something near it

I use MS Vista 64 bit and the german Version of the game.
I have a Nvdia GForce GTX 280 and a Creative SB X.Fi in the PC
All Drivers are up to date and the DXdiag don't find any error.

Do you have any solutions for me ?

thx a lot
bye

Nimothar

Are you using dual monitors? I ask because I have V64 and had the exact same problem. If you are, temp switch that off first, load the game, quit, then switch it back on. You won't have that problem again for future loads.

Actually, if I remember correctly, Vista 64 is not supported (Vista 32 is, of course, supported), but I am not entirely certain. In any case, even if not supported, it can run on Vista 64 PCs.

I can verify it runs with vista 64 bit and a single 8800gt / single display. I could be wrong, but I understood a previous post to say to use a single monitor, re-install the game with single monitor, and then go ahead and re-connect dual monitor....

ok

1) I removed the second Grafikcard
2) I removed the second Monitor
3) I Re-Installed the game
4) Yeah - it works
5) I added the second Grafikcard
6) The game doesn't start
7)

Then I bring the game back to my dealer.....

No Game = No Problems
