Question about skill "Concentration"

Does anyone knows how concentration really works?
I've got level 2 in concentration (4 Mana/round), but i'll get still 2 Mana/round. After round 10 i only get 1 Mana and after round 13/14 i don't get ANY mana back.
I noticed this during baatling wiht the Kraken (and i losses the fight because Manadeath).
