Error says unknown r_path 'ps20'

Everytime i try to launch the game i wait for about ten seconds then something pops up and says Application Aborted! and in the box it says:
unknown r_path 'ps20' so i press ok and returns me to desktop. Also i downloaded the new patch that might have fixed this problem but it is a photo file.... and wants me to use a photo shop to open it and it wont open anyone have any ideas how to get it to work. thanks....
