Default 64 bit XP and drivers

Dear All,
I am just about to do a computer upgrade and my son who is doing it has asked me if there is anyone who is running IL-2 on 64 bit and are there any driver problems with regard to game, joystick (MSFF2) and rudder pedals (CH). If there are I will probably tell him not to bother unless it is not too difficult.
Best regards,
Pike

I am running Vista x64 with Saitek stick and Saitek pedals, no problem at all as Saitek provides the drivers.
However, as you have a MSFF2 and CH rudder pedals, my guess is that there are no Vista drivers...
My advice is to check if there are Vista x64 drivers for your gear, and if not, you will have to stay with Win XP. No worries m8, XP is still a very good OS, as good as Vista IMHO

Been using Xp64 for over a year at home now and have no problems at all with Il2 or my CH stick and pedals.

Its probably the most stable version of windows available (I work in QA so get to use all the flavours) and only ever had one game not want to run on it because it didn't have a 64bit compatible installer.
