When the same thing happened to me with the Lizard men and other crashes, I found that I did not have enough disk space.
The simple solution was to clean up my computer and get back the space.
As soon as I did that the game works flawlessly.

There is way too much of this blaming 1c for the problems that are the user's own problems.

I have played all the KBs and not one problem can I blame on the developers. The games are great to play and work without glitches once you deal with your own system's configurations.

how many hours have you spent with Warriors of the North and its expansion? 10? 20? or only 1?

This is by sure the buggiest strategy game by 1c and the developers have caused this, who else!

That's a nice fairy tale, but the truth is that the game (still) has plenty of bugs that have nothing to do with the players' computer.

How do you know? Has there been any information about that? It would be really bad if they abandon it like this.

However....Last week, the game (at least my copy) downloaded a patch with steam. 270 mb. Today downloaded a little one... 2,5 mb. Are they patches?? Because there is no info anywhere about them...

If you are referring to a quest bug or spell miscalculation or some minor glitch, then yes, there probably are some - like the item placed where no matter what you try is in-accessible.
But having played thru WotN twice, aside from the crash that occurred because I did not have enough free space on my computer, the game works without a flaw. I have thoroughly enjoyed playing it. The graphics/artwork is superb. The humor is terrific - I've burst out laughing several times at the dialog and can easily overlook spelling errors.

The folks at 1C have done a terrific job at making the game fun and enjoyable and deserve nothing but praise for a job well done.

Bro, harddisk space? I have "plenty" of space left.....

anyway I got around this problem by identifying which enermies caused the crash, and i try my best to kill them before they had a chance to wave their staffs and crash the game.
