CoD for Windows 8

Is there any likelihood that there will be a (stable) re-release of CoD on a DVD in the near future?
I have tried to play the game with all the fix's for Windows 8 but it still does not play.
Will 1C Company likely to upgrade CoD on a new DVD release?
