I was using Tiger Fly-by UV3 cause is very very cool to watch over 70 U.S.A. diving bombers going on the Yamato... But suddendly i can't hear the other plane flyby sound.
I mean: If I press F3 on MY PLANE i can hear all engine sounds perfectly, but if I press F3 while watching another plane I don't hear any sound... Why? |

That happens sometimes.. I imagine that once HSFX comes out with their upgrade Tiger's mod will be easier to incorporate in the I'm thanks to 4.12 and that won't happen. I like that mod too....

Hi Caspar!
I'm using the 4.11.1m with HSFX 6.0.17 ( I have the last version of HSFX ) When I'm alone in the map i can hear fine the fly-by sound but when I'm in large formation of bomber sometimes i can hear only my fly-by and sometimes i can't hear nothing... In the second case if i switch the external to a far formation of fighter i have a delayed fly-by. The strange think is that 2 days ago all was working fine! P.S. I have added in the MOD folder the FOV Mod. But i tried to delete it and reinstall tiger. Nothing changed.. Last edited by Racetrack; 07-02-2013 at 12:14 PM. |

Thats a random bug with UV3, many people experienced it including me.
I had it with DBW 1.71 and I could not fix it but I tried for two weeks then I gave up. Iirc when I was asking about making UV3 default sound for DBW somebody who does the core of the programming told me that UV3 isnt really compatible with HSFX and DBW because it uses a different sound matrix (possible cause of this problem). Plus theres a conflict between SAS engine mod 2.6 (required for the latest jets) and UV3 so they cannot be used together. |
