I think the most annoying bug in CoD. Yesterday my record, 7 min. to get both green lights in landing. Has anybody found any trick to get it working faster?
And I can't get a quick take off with 110; no problem if I start parked, start the engine and reach the runway, but if I select quick take off the engine reaches no more than 15000 rpm and it's impossible to leave the ground. When u start make sure your prop pitch isn't going down on your clock (upper right gauge). Before u take-off make sure your pitch is at 12:00, when you add throttle this should give you more take-off power then you have to manually adjust from there. |

So it's a bit better, but it still takes a very long time.
Prop pitch is ok. It's the engine that doesn't reach enough rpm. So the aircraft is very slow and can't take off. It happens only with Bf110 quick take off. |

Hey there, thought I would throw my two pennies into this.
I fly the Bf 110 exclusively and one of the things that comes to my mind is perhaps you are not bringing your gear all the way up? When I take off and get airborne I must make sure I hit my landing gear key twice, once to bring it up to neutral and and second time to bring it all the way into the "up" position. Edit - For a more detailed take off procedure this is taken from my squadrons training manual. Open water radiators to 60% and oil rad to 30%. Each click of the button is a 5% increase/decrease so if you don't use the digital read out then you can still keep track by counting how many times you press the button. Set take off trim to 3-4 springs behindred pointer, this is located on your left side console. If in a C7 and carrying bombs set flaps extended 10-20 degrees, flap indicator is next to yellow throttle levers left console. You may have to set brakes to push throttles up a bit to view flap indicator. Now taxi to takeoff point or if already there prepare for takeoff. Note: Always use full runway length. Hold brakes at 100% and gradually increase throttle until RPM reaches approximately 1800 RPM, make sure your pitch is at 12 o’clock and engines are even in RPMs. If you go over 2000 RPM your aircraft will risk nosing over (nose stand). At 1800 RPM release brakes and feed in right rudder to keep track straight down runway. Around 170-185 km/h rotate smoothly back on stick. Note: The heavier you are the longer take off distance and increased rotation speed. Once off the ground maintain smooth rotation so your speed is 180-200 km/h. After you have established positive rate in climb by looking outside or by your VSI/Altimeter retract gear. Wait until airspeed is over 200 km/h, lower the nose of the aircraft, and retract your flaps. Once in clean configuration (flaps and gear up) resume climb and adjust trim as necessary. Note: If your speed goes over 250km/h and your gear is not up ( 2 green lights) it will not retract until you slow below 250 km/h. Do you fly the Bf 110 often? I just build a mission with quick take off in FMB (maybe it's "scramble" in the english edition?). It makes no difference if I'm alone or with a group, but I did it only as a group leader, I have to try as a wingman.

![]() edit: your low RPM can only be 2 things, prop pitch or a throttle controller in need of calibration

I like to fly the Bf110, both as bomber interceptor (it's lovely to have 180 20mm rounds) and as low level hit-and-run raider. But it has very few chances versus a skilled Spitfire or Hurricane.
