Arrow Battle of Britain Short Film

I spent 62 hours filming and editing this within 2 weeks All sound effects and music are taken from the 1969 Battle of Britain film and various flight shows caught on film

Please let me know what you think

Enjoy!

Very well done, your hard work has not been in vain.

Now that you've made the trailer, you might as well remake the whole movie with Il2. Don't leave Susannah York out

Cool Two section, scramble!

This is excellent stuff! The orchestral-only sequence had the hairs on the back of my neck rising.

Just one little nitpick with the text at the end though. By October 1940, either the Luftwaffe had failed to achieve air supremacy over Southern England, or the RAF had won it. The existing statement is a bit vague.

On the lines of things I'd like to see if you ever are feeling masochistic enough to tweak it, would be the inclusion of Bf-110 and/or Ju-88 in the sequence. The film lacked either of these for obvious reasons, but as they are available in Il-2...

Well done! Now I'm off to watch it again.
