Default Box at the center of Eastern F. Island

So here I found a shiny gold box protected by some orcs, which seems to be a normal enemy because when I point a cursor at the creature, the cross sword icon appears. The problem is I can't attack this guy or take a look what's inside that box (or altar, don't know). Is this a bug? or suppose to be something I can do later? Got a picture in the below:

This is very well know ‘inconvenience’, there are few more locations and stationery enemies troops where the only way to get to them is by using arrow keys on your keyboard. I thought the box itself was some part of a quest but after fighting the guardians I don’t even remember what I got.

I never used the arrow keys so I think you can land on it too.

That's dead man's chest. I had an epic battle with 5 guardian towers with over 17,000 health each at level 41. It was a great fight, probably the hardest so far. It was a huge disappointment when there was ZERO loot and no story to go with that fight.

I was able to do that fight without using arrows key but it took a few tries (initially nothign would happen). If you thoughtt hat fight was bad (for my army it ws not so bad; actually i don't remember anything special about it) there is a second one where the towers have 2x hp. Hum. Where was that fight - demonis? new kodar? Ah yea new Kodar. But you do get a prize for that second fight. Getting no loss on the second one turned out ok because the last tower kept turning my stack of thorns into sheeps
-
But wacking on the tower was forever; I think I used polar bears. I'm playing warrior impossible so maybe it is harder with the other classes. Current troops are paladins; demonologist; rune mages (at about 60%); (what'cha call it that cast sleep and spawns thorns at 80%) and inquistor swapping with polar bears when needed.
-
Can't find additional rune mages or what'cha call it to get full size stacks. Probably just as well I hear rune mages are overpowered though I suspect I'm not using them as optimal as others do.
