Do you need tohead back to the starting islands after spider boss ?

I have some quests I need to complete in the starting islands and was wondering if you have to go back to them later. Trying to complete the game in the fastest /no loss that I can.

Yes. In addition on the new area you'll get some quests related to the first islands.

You don't *have* to for storyline purposes, but two of the Valkyrie lv 5 quests require you to go back.
