Haha. You are quite unlucky. Maybe its not even possible in your game. You have too much Vampires and Skeletons.

Re-adjust army. Try splitting army too. You actually do have snakes (snake eggs) and spiders (spider eggs).

The boss would always open with poison skull or ghost blade, but when I had one stack of red snakes, he stopped doing that.

I also had to use a Call of Nature scroll sometime during the first round.

Anyways, I wouldn't worry too much about no-loss since you can regain most of the troops you need and gold is plentiful.

He changed spell because you changed unit not because that unit was spider. Every time you change/add/remove unit fight will start in different way.

His troop has +1 initiate bonus so vampire + ghost has 7 initate, 6 stack alway attack first with high speed
2 stack of skeleton can easy get to my troop with their ability at first round.

I try some spliting army strategy but enemy hero alway call ghost blade first round.

I just want confirm if the update make game harder, before update I play 2 time and enemy 'size is only 50-70% above. I can beat it no-loss with even Runic skill level 2.
