Is There a Costal Brotherhood Workaround?

Exactly what the description says. Curious to know if there is a work around to get this quest completed. I paid the Orc to release the prisoners and went to the prison and released all the prisoners and the quest wont update and when I check back to the quest giver I only get the option of the prisoners will be home soon. If anyone has a work around to make this complete some how. And thanks for your help.

Hmm… I don’t have solution; I can only tell you what my approach was: the guard at the door wanted to play hide and seek, so when he hid I went in, killed the guard inside, freed 3 groups of prisoners, and ta-da quest completed.
If you aren’t too far along you might try it again, could be bug if not sorry for not much help.

You found guard inside? I didint found any guard after talked with that ogre for hide, realesed prisioners and thats it . Still have this quest for not completed.

Well its been a day since i took the quest and most quest I kinda skim through this game would be so much better with voice acting and a little less dialogue so I do not feel like I want to go to sleep after reading a conversation. But I paid the Orc in the castle to release the prisoner and I think I recall the ogre guard still wanting to play hide and go seek so maybe that is what messes the quest up cause there was no guard inside and I released all the prisoners only to not get any update. So maybe word of advice do not pay the ransom and just have the ogre play hide and go seek and go in and kill the guards too bad I completed the quest a day ago and do not feel like going back and doing several hours with of work again. I am not sure if its possible the way I described cause I paid the ransom and tried that way only to bug the quest on me.

I reported that bug last week and they fixed it with the new patch. The quest works now, BUT you have to start a new game.
