Touch screen support?

I'm wondering if anyone knows why my touch screen doesn't work in-game. I have a 22" touch monitor, and it works fine in Windows and Windows apps, it also works fine in the IL-2 COD menu pages, but once I am in the actual game it stops working. COD has a cockpit with so many clickable objects, but in this one place where it would make sense for a touch-screen to work, it doesn't. A soon as I go in-game, touching the screen no longer moves the mouse. I have to grab the mouse (a very unnatural thing to do in a cockpit) and move it around to control objects on the screen. This is not easy to do while flying, especially since I am right-handed, and need to keep my hand on the joystick. I'm not coordinated enough to use a mouse with my left hand, but using my finger to touch objects on the screen would be so easy. Is it just me, or does this happen to everyone?
