Default What 1C tried to do with Clod...

...and what they will hopefully do with BoM.

I think what 1C wanted - but failed to achieve - was a very human element to their game. This rumoured 'MMO' would most likely be a very basic run around an airfield to your plane from a dispersal hut with the option to jump on an AA gun or into your plane which we've seen videos of.

luthier before said that they had to cut a lot of animations for pilots bailing out etc, you taking control of the chute... Also for pilots in the cockpits. The possibility of players on the ground playing tanks etc is exciting too in all honesty.

Hopefully this combined with good weather effects, FMs and DMs would be a return to form and a worthy successor to IL2.

I believe Oleg and Luthier have talked about having done extensive work on human animation. It has to be a low priority now, and on the back burner until far more important aspects have been addressed.

That said I have no doubt of the fifty people working on the development I would say they might have one person still working on human animation to use as a feature when optimizations/cpu/graphic resources allow.

MMO in the context of a flightsim does not have to mean there's going to be more firstperson action outside of the cockpit. I don't foresee any pub or nurses quarters action here. Just RoF style purchase model where you spend a little here and a little there. Aparently this brings in more money in the long run.
