G940 view hat config issue

I have just started to use my G940 after it gathering dust for some time.
I'm struggling to understand how to configure it. I can't even get the hat control to scroll the view like I had in my MS side winder. At the moment I'm stuck using the key board to change view. Can someone tell me how to get it working?

Doesn't anyone know about this issue at all? Is a config. that needs to be setup?
