Default B6-Original vershion

Hi Blacksix, could you see if a download link could be provided for the original release vs. of the game. No matter how much I try Steam interferes with me attempting to have that vs. for play.

I can't understand your question. Do you want the original 1.0 version? It's impossible, Steam don't let you such possibility.

I thought if made available like the beta patch v.1.08.18956 or the others, it could then be unzipped in proper folder. I can do that now with other vs but not the 1.0 v

buy the CD, this will alow you to install 1.0. I don´t think there is another way. The purpose of Steam is, that all players use the actual Version, so it doesn´t make sense to provide earlier versions...

Guys, I have the CD from the collector's edition. All the disc does is install steam, and then the game downloads via steam. So even with the disc, you'll still receive the last official retail release, i.e. v1.05.

But Slipball, what reason do you have for wanting the initial release?

Mine installs from the disc and then updates via steam.

Really? Ok, I stand corrected. I haven't installed since March 2011, so you could be right. I'd swear that's how it happened back then though.....

same here. It should be possible with every CD, but i have no idea how to change the installation-way (cd or steam-download).
