Toggle Tags

I want to wean myself off of tags. Is there a way to toggle them off and on besides the global realism setting?

What I mean is, can I set them to on in the realism, then toggle them off and on with a key press during a mission?

I don't think so, TynMahn - unlike IL2 1946 IIRC.

It would be a good feature, even if just for offline play/practice. I would definitely have a joystick button toggled for it if it were available.

IIRC it works the same as in 46.
You have to insert a file named rcu (text file below , no extension) in your 1C softclub/il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover folder.
To use , you enter the console during play and type the abbreviation needed. (in the following aa show fps, ab hides fps, ic and id modify the dots the way I want.
