Anyone give me some advice on how to tone down the elevator trim, since last release patch, it's like it's 10x too sensitive. Even using the keyboard, a single push of the button, which moves the trim wheel maybe 1/10th of a turn on the 109, throws your plane's nose far too high/low. It's even worse with the X-52's throttle thumb wheel, I simply cannot trim the aircraft out at most speeds.
I've tried adjusting the slider all the way left and all the way right in-game controls, neither seem to help. I can't seem to find anything in the Saitek CP that allows me to adjust the sensitivity of the wheel, but perhaps I'm missing something?

I have the same problem. I can only use about 0.25-0.50mm worth of motion on my thumbwheel, and that's adjusting the trim to the max.

Rudder and trim 2 of the most sensitive things. Especially trim in the middle section near 0'. |

At least on TM Cougar's setup you can set curves for the input. I have set my thumbwheels center quite insensitive, going exponentially more sensitive towards the ends of the wheels motion.

Does it help with the 109's elevator trim? I have a sneaking suspicion (by watching the trim wheel in the cockpit) that even the minimum of movement is still translating into huge deflection on the elevator at speed.

Yes, at least in my case it does work. What joystick do you use and does it have some setup program that allows to set input/output curves?

Wierd thing is, even using the keyboard, and a single click moves the wheel maybe 1/20th of a revolution on the trim wheel, but the effect is huge, I'd say at least 10 clicks compared to 2 patches ago.
