Default Placing down moving trains in the editor

sorry if this has been asked before but I cannot find it by searching through the forum.
How do you place down a train in the editor and have it move down the tracks to a specific point?

Thanks

Similar to other objects IIRC. Try zooming in.

I did not manage to put trains on hand-placed tracks on smaller online maps btw. But the devs told it was just me.

Just select train you want

Zoom in to see train track

Place mouse cursor over track

Hold down Ctrl or ins. And left mouse click. That will place the first waypoint

Then do same along track every few hundred meters

Some trains cause artifacts with some gfx cards. Some tracks are bugged and the train runs underground...
