Default Skinning the Bf109 - Locations of particular objects

I'm hoping this will make it easier for those looking to skin the Bf109... And maybe people will create something similar for other aircraft and their "hard to find" objects/locations)

Let's start off with those pesky clips I have to keep locating to change the colour of, depending on the skin/camo I'm working on...

If anyone would like to add any other useful locations/objects for the Me109, please do.

Hi Guys
If I cant find a certain part of a Template even with 'Panel Finder'
I then create a new Layer and call it say 'Markers' then I look to see what the colour of the
part is in 'Panel Finder' for example Bright Yellow and Light green and then in the Paint Pallete select very Bold colours and then with paint brush set to a fairly Small Size add random dots[different colours] all over the Bright Yellow and Light green areas of 'Panel Finder' then go into 'Plane' viewer and see which coloured dot has marked that area.
Keep doing this until you mark the panel you want.
Takes a little time But it works
Regards
Keith

You need to set the little check mark before you click the download (скачать) button in order for it to work!

I started a separate thread a few days ago, because I had trouble finding certain little parts of a skin.
EZ suggested I could also post my findings here, so here it goes:

1. Location of a small glitch:

Color the green part with the bottom color to fix the miscoloring partially. Unfortunately it cannot be ironed out completely because the tiny blue area shows on top AND on the bottom (as you can see above). That means if you color the blue area like the top wing (black in this case) a bit of that color will show on the bottom. If you color it like the bottom wing (red) a little bit of that will show on top. The good thing is, the area is just a few pixels. So it's certainly not a biggy!

2. Location of the tip of the pitot boom:

Hope it's useful info to some of you!
