Performance improvements, V-Sync fix

Nvidia has released Geforce 304.48 Beta drivers that promise quite a few performance improvments in various game titles as well as some key fixes that have been plaguing Geforce GTX 600 series users so far.

As far as the performance improvements are concerned, they are focused on Geforce GTX 690 and GTX 560 graphics cards and go as high as up to 60 percent in Total War: Shogun 2 game with the latest patch and as high as up to 18 percent in Batman: Arkham City game title, both on Geforce GTX 680 graphics card. The GTX 680 also got significant improvement in Dragon Age II and STALKER: Call of Pripyat with up to 15 and 10 percent, respectively.

GTX 560 owners can look forward to up to 14 percent in Batman: Arkham City, up to 5 percent in Battlefield 3 in SLI, up to 8 percent in The Witcher 2 in SLI, up to 4 percent in Dragon Age II and up to 7 percent in Lost Planet 2.

More importantly, the new Geforce 304.48 Beta driver also fixes an intermittent v-sync shuttering issus with Geforce GTX 600 series GPUs, issues with factory overclocked cards that were running at lower clocks and performance issues in the mentioned Total War: Shogun 2 game with the latest game patch.

In addition to key fixes and performance improvements, the new driver also adds and updates SLI profiles and 3D Vision profiles for wide list of new titles as well as Control Panel antialiasing support for various game titles.

Downloaded & installed yesterday...it did seem to give me a bit (5% maybe) better performance.Worth it for me.
