Default RAF fonts

I noticed the RAF planes have a wrong font for the code letters. It should look like this:

And it currently looks like this:

It isn't a serious bug, but it would be nice if it was corrected. It's a matter of a couple of hours to change it, I think. All the letters except C, D, G, P, R and S are correct, so just the brows should be changed.

They changed from squad to squad and were different on the spit and hurri.

Could someone confirm that or am I talking out of my rear end?

Each period and nearly each squadron did have his own size and type of font of code for the airplanes... all this with rules of the command (air ministry) and sometimes when rules did change you did have the two type of font and size in the same squadron even some time two planes with the same indification letter (the third one) in one squadron (rare but it did happens). The serial number was unique but not always visible during the beginning of the battle of France the first squadrons of Hurricanes did have the serial number over painted. The markings of WW2 planes are a science and demand many hours of study.

i dont think you do, you "simply" use them to create your own skin, put in the game and fly.

You put them in the windows font folder. Now when you create a skin you can type in the correct font and put them on the skin.
