I stopped by the FHC museum in Everett today to hang out with my aluminum skinned "friends" and picked up a really neat book on the 109. It is the Haynes Owners Manual for the 109.

I have tons of 109 books going ad-nauseum into production figures, rustatz kits, camo schemes, a bump here and a hole there..primarily for model builders.
This one is a great refernce especially for
SIM builders. Great pilot notes, exhaustive controls details and flight operation. I notice many things the boyz at 1C should read, like the taxi take off and landing characteristics, and discrepancies such as a considerable speed difference in landing the E model (I can't land a CoD E4 at 160 Km/h), temperature management and others. Also the leading edge slot deployment is not right in CoD.
BTW for you reds there were Spit and Hurri owners manuals that are probably just as good.
