Default My Spit Seems A Bit Jumpy

After patch...must admit I haven't played for ages...the Spit I flew in QM low altitude even, seemed very jumpy. Couldn't fly the thing with any finesse at all. The nose just wanted to jump all over the place. Anyone else notice some "nervous" flight characteristics since the bloody patch?

This is not only SPIT the 109 too before you claim its porked. In my opinion the ac are much more difficult to handle. You have to use your muscles to control the ac. Flying is much more pleasant since you have to feel your machine. I am loving the FM. In the 109 you really have to use the rudder for flying. This one of the improvements of the patch. The fms are more difficult...

i think i kind of agree with that.....im only a 109 driver, and its the exact you are describing...rudder seems to be more important now, which is a thing i like.all in all,the whole plane doesnt react that quick anymore, and seems to fight against airmass, and its more difficult to give subtle inputs.aiming is a lot harder now as well, and now after two days of flying with this patch, i think that it is indeed more realistic.
though i would like to have some real life pilots, like IvanK, confirming that.

Agree with the 109 rudder. Initially I thought the rudder axis on my stick was fubar as it was so different to pre-patch. Spit's always been a bit prone to waving her head up and down, perhaps it is more so now.

hehe hade the same "problem" with my rudder.
Staying behind a AI spitfire and getting accurate shots at it is much harder now. your head seems to bounce around the revi a bit and I easily used too much rudder and my bullets were way off.
I like it!
