Default info window with heading and speed possible?

I have seen in some videos that people have their prop pitch, throttle, radiator settings and the like in an info box on the bottom right.

While I get how to set up an info window, using it for chat and resizing it, I am unable to make the stats mentioned above appear. I probably have to change the confUser.ini under the entry "chatWindow", but other than that I am pretty clueless.

Also, even more importantly, I find that the directional gyro, compass and speed is sometimes a little hard to see at a glance. Is it possible to get this data into the info window as well? If yes, how?

I can imagine that other people had trouble with this, but the forum's search function did not give me any hints (besides some confUser.inis from other pilots).

Hi. There is two column. "Items", and "Items All". The Items colum is the active components, so you have to select the engine info line in the Items All, and move into Items colum with the small < icon.
After this, you can select the lines in the Items column, and set some unique settings. Digital engine info, or analog, font sizes and colors, etc.

The small "engine info" icons provide informations from some control equipments, which you don't have to watch during flight. The pilot's hand on the throttle, He feel it's position. Same is the radiator, mixture, etc. But! There is some controls, which don't provide accurate information in this way. For example: 109 radiator. It is turning 2,25 times, so you dont know the exact value, if you see it (have to check the small rad on the wing surface). Or the Bf 109 Prop Pitch: It have only two buttons, have to see the PP gauge to know the exact value). This icons only indicate when it is in use (+ or -), but the icon is in the center position by default.

This maybe confuses the new players.

Your second question. The game no provides any other helping information, so there is no compass, speed or altitude "speedbar". No engine overheat, or any other helping messages. You have to check the gauges, and instruments by the original way (The game so accurate, you can using any original Pilot's Manual).

Thanks for the detailed description, VO101_Tom. I'll try it later right when I am back home!

As for the other data, I have realized that when you set a button for looking at the instrument panel, the gyro is finally visible. That already solves my navigation problems as I now can check my heading any time I want
