Slovakia Map

Hi all,

I been fliying the beta slovakia map for a while now and first i want to congratulate the team who has made possible so brilliant map. At last we can enjoy realistic airstrips, the villages look also so realistic you expect to see the postman on the street, the cows on the fields, the priest walking around waiving people... anyway. I have been following the threads about feedback about this map and it seems everithing is in order. Is there any information about when the final release is going to be?

Maps are ready for final release for more than two months. I asked Oleg at least two times wen the final version will be released. AFAIK we all are waiting for some programmer to put it together.

Winter - yes. Looks even better than the summer/autumn map

You guys have done an amazing job. I sometimes just fly around at tree top level and enjoy the scenery. I also went on the web and checked out some of the cities you have modeled. One of these days I'm going to come over and ski in your country. There is only one thing missing...people! You have found a real ballance between the landmass and buildings and if SOW comes close to what you have done it will be the standard for the next decade. What I also enjoy doing is flying around the pattern and doing touch and go's, never did that on any of the other maps. I think your team just increased the shelf life of this sim by another 2-5 years!
