G`day
Created some missions that involve difficult weather conditions. The AI aircrafy have no problem flying through the cloud when climbing over it. But the player`s aircraft hits a brick wall when attempting the same thing. Pitot and carb heaters are running yet the aircraft doesn`t matter which one falls like a brick until it is out of foul weather. Icing should not be a real problem until you have been running through for a matter of minutes not straight away, I don`t mind the windows frosting up but the aircraft should climb through modest weather with only a marginal affect pn performance. Also as I mentioned ealier AI seems to have no affect when it comes to the weather. I have included the mission below.

Fully agree. Totally unrealistic. Flying into cloud in real life should not always cause such severe icing conditions. The game right now does not model the weather so until they release BOM we'll just have to live with it.

This has been reported to the Devs (a long time ago). Their response was this is simulating Propeller Icing. It is totally overboard.
