MOW Condemned Heroes - No Mouse Pointer

I purchased MOW:CH on steam.

The game starts and plays, however the mouse regularly disapears from the screen and I have to wiggle the mouse for several seconds before it reapears on the screen.

Particulars:
Windows 7 64bit with all the patchs applied.
The Video Card Drviers are up to date.

I thought that it seems in the first mission the snow messes with the mouse pointer or something.
