Default Need explanation about ATAG Stats!

Hi bros,

We are setting a database in our squadron so I have some questions about ATAG stats:

1. What column represents nº of bail outs?
2. Abandons = disconects and aircraft switches?
3. Whats difference between deaths "caracter" and "plane"?

I want to count number of "real flights" eg. ONLY the sorties when pilot taked off... cause most times pilots go to cockpit then switch aircraft.

Thx and sry for bad english!

Hi Bluesman,

I've asked Colander to respond here as I have no idea what the stats mean

Hopefully he can answer your questions.

1. What column represents nº of bail outs?
There is no column (yet) for bail outs.

2. Abandons = disconects and aircraft switches?
Abandons = leave the plane before landing. If you switch to another plane in flight, that will count as an abandon.

3. Whats difference between deaths "caracter" and "plane"?
Character is your virtual persona and the plane is the plane
For example:
If you get killed (as in pilot) on the ground, you have 1 Character death but no plane death.
If you bail out and your plane dies but you survive, you have a plane death but no character death (which is how you can calculate more or less #1)

Hope this explains.

PS: These stats are only version 1 done over a week I was on vacations. At this time, I'm working on another project, but once I'm done I hope to start working on a much improved version. So sorry, no patch for now
